Week 1 of my three month study program to learn how to construct simple sentences in Basque.

I'm Kristina, I'm an English teacher from Scotland, I live in the Basque Country and I started learning Basque last year.

I have created this study plan, "3 months to simple sentences in Basque", to help me revise what I learned in my first year of Basque class and also to hopefully help others who are also interested in learning Basque.

Its a three month program split into 12 weekly lessons. You can find the full study plan and more information on how to use it here.

How do I study?

Study the vocabulary on your own or by using the online flashcards I've created using Quizlet.

Quizlet is an online study platform that helps you create and memorise flashcards, click on the icons to study the vocabulary. More info on how to use this study plan here.

How do I use these lists?

I try to study the lists for 5-10 minutes per day. I find that studying small quantities frequently (10 minutes, every day) is far more effective than studying a lot infrequently (one hour, once a week).

Happy studying, izan ongi !

I hope you enjoy studying with these lists! If you're a Basque speaker and you find any mistakes please let me know, See you soon, Ikus arte!

Next step?

Once you've memorised this vocab, have a look at week 2.
