I'm Kristina and despite having lived in the Basque Country for three years, I cannot speak any Basque...but this year that will change !
I've decided to take learning Basque more seriously this year and I want to share with you my strategies for learning a language and my Basque language learning ressources!
Here I will mostly be sharing my Quizlet study sets. If you're learning Basque and want some free ressources keep reading!
What's Quizlet ?
Quizlet is an application and website that I find very useful for studying languages. My Spanish teacher introduced me to Quizlet when I was 16 and since then it's helped me learn Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian!
Here's the Basque class I started on Quizlet with all my Basque/English vocabulary lists.
Nowadays Quizlet is most useful to me as an English teacher, I create study sets to help my stupents study English outside of our classes. If you're a French speaker and you're interested in those free English learning ressources you can check them out here.
How does it work?
Click on the icons to access the Quizlet page for the corresponding vocabulary list. From there you can use the different games to study, my favourite is "learn".

I try to study the lists for 5-10 minutes per day. I find that studying small quantities frequently (10 minutes, every day) is far more effective than studying a lot infrequently (one hour, once a week).
Check out all the lists here.
I hope you enjoy studying with these lists! If you're a Basque speaker and you find any mistakes please let me know, Check ou Ikus arte!
